I’m going with my year at school for two days activities. I’ve never been anywhere like this before so I’ve no idea what to bring!
Ye, ty! Im gonna b so wrecked dis week wit de results nd den dis 2!

I went there in TY! Twas a good week. =] Don’t get lost in the woods though! *ahem*

You do three activities every day if I remember correctly, one in the morning, one after lunch and a less strenuous one in the evening. You’ll need a swimsuit if you’re doing kayaking, as many pairs of socks as you can pack, whatever towels you need for showering (I don’t think they give you any), two pairs of jeans or tracksuit bottoms for every day you’re there (you get muddy), decent shoes that have ankle support (not essential, but there’s some uphill hiking involved to get to some of the activities. It’s much easier than doing it in converse) and PJs. Some schools dress up on the last night, so ask around to see if you should bring something nice.

Have a good time! =]

I’m looking for a great challenge. I kayak, hike, bike, whatever, so I could do a multi-sport trip to. I’m thinking about going solo, just for the challenge.

My wife and I, along with a friend will be climbing the east face of Mt Whitney this summer. Should be quite an adventure!

If you can’t get a permit, or want to start smaller, there are many beautiful peaks in the Sierra Nevada Mt’s that range from very accessible and easy to summit, to multi-day/week back country treks to very difficult accents. Whatever floats your boat.

As beautiful as any mountain range in the world.

Whatever you do, have fun and be safe.

This Is Angels & Airwaves playing The Adventure Live from the 2008 Warped Tour.

This clip is taking from this DVD… http://www.warpedtourdocumentary.com/

Enjoy!

I am about to turn 30 and I want to take a big adventure trip in the USA. I dont know any websites to look, could someone help me? It cant be real expensive, but I do want to horseback ride, hike, all that kinda stuff. Test myself, you know? This is my early mid-life crisis trip. Please give me some fun ideas or places to look.

One of the best trips I ever have been on was a combination trip to Las Vegas and to California. Here is what I did. I booked a cheap hotel room off the Las Vegas strip and got a combination of room and air fare for a great price. The gambling industry somehow subsidizes the airlines and helps to keep fairs low. My total trip was 7 days. The first three days I spent in Vegas. First day was arrival and getting settled and then a little blackjack poker. The next day I did a tour of the strip and did a show that night. (Mystere..it is AWESOME) The next day I rented a car and went to the Painted Desert which is North of Vegas and is UNBELIEVABLY beautiful. Then circled back around to the Soutth and went to the Hoover Dam which is also incredible. On the fourth day I kept my car and got up super early and drove seven hours west through the Mohave Desert (on Hwy 15 to Barstow). It was incredible to see the desert and some historic landmarks. We also drove through numerous windmill farms which are fascinating to see. We then turned to the north (through Bakersfield California) to the Sequoia National Park. (this was a long day, but I saw stuff I had never ever seen before..windmills and oil diggers, avocado groves, lemon groves etc) Sequoia is the most incredible place I have ever been and definately worth seeing. It is to awesome to even try to describe, you just have to do it for yourself. We rented a hunting cabin for $150 that night, which included a continental breakfast (cofee and pastries). (yes I paid for two hotel rooms that night..one in Vegas, and one in Sequoia..but it was worth not having to pack the whole room etc) The next morning there were deer just standing around our cabin in the morning mist, not frightened by us, because there is no hunting there. It was wonderful. That next morning we went to the Crystal Cave, (www.sequoiahistory.org/cave/cave.htm) which again, you just have to see and then did a few more stops in the Sequoia Groves and then hopped back in the car to go back to Vegas. The sixth day we were back in Vegas for shopping and sight seeing including dinner that night at a 5 star restaurant. It was a great combination trip of entertainment and natural beautiful scenery. I have travelled all over the Americas and this was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken.

An adventure video taking you on a tour of my “kitchen”. ENJOY!! :)

This is an amazing trip to take if you are spending your holidays in Thailand. 2 km of zip lines take you from platform to platform high up in the rainforest canopy. There are also two day adventure tours you can combine Flight of the Gibbon with including mountain biking, rock climbing and white water rafting. Stay up on the moutain village in a homestay in between your days. It really is a way to make your holidays in Thailand unique and unforgettable.

In case you are wondering…it’s called “Flight of the Gibbon” because it mimics the way gibbon primates travel in these forests.
