Is the volcano something to see? We can hike fairly rugged terrain. Would a boat trip be better than a bus trip? best beach or waterfall suggestions appreciated.
Dominica is beautiful. I have heard that the hike to Boiling lake is incredible but extremely strenous even for the experienced hiker. Trafalagar Falls is a good tour and they take you to Ti Tou Gorge as well (as seen in Pirates of the Caribean 2). The tram ride is pretty but I am not sure it is worth $100 pp. The Whale Watching trip is nice but mostly a nice boat ride with drinks. They are very knowledgable and you might get lucky. We enjoyed the trip even though we only saw mostly dolphins. I have also heard that the snorkling around a place called Champagne spout or something like that is cool.
