I’m going out to Cabo San Lucas this weekend and I want to do the ziplining, Canopy tour. should I book it now online or should i wait until i go out there. some people said i should wait to get out there and bargain, but this is run thru a company, could we still bargain?

thanks

As long as it is run by human, you can bargain.

Maybe you may wanted to extend your tour,

just ask.

I’m looking for outdoor adventure programs that I can take my seven year old son to, and actively participate in as well. Hiking, camping, whitewater rafting, ropes courses, etc. Preferably programs that have some social component to them as well, such as communication skills, boundary building, respect, and growing in fun, joyful, family partnership. Any ideas??

Contact Ricardo or Trista and tell them Judi Murphy suggested you contact them. Their Hawk Circle program – link below, includes a summer camp, college credit programs – I’m not sure if they have what you are looking for – but I trust them implicitly. If they cannot accommodate you – they are likely to know who has what you need.

I would like to picnic, take some nature walks and relax in a beautiful tree surrounded setting. I remember going somewhere in Sunol that would be perfect, but I was young and dont remember exactly where it was, I beleive it was called Little Yosemite, ever heard of it?

Good memory – there is a park called Little Yosemite in Sunol. :-)

Here’s an article about it with some details as well: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2004/12/23/SPGAPAFUCS1.DTL

I’d also highly recommend visiting Big Sur, it’s beautiful there and perfect for walking, relaxing and picnicing too.

Bay Area Backroads is a fantastic source for finding neat Bay Area things to do. Theye have several good books and a website:
